the twilight zone: Georgetown.

This may just be the most bizarre night I have ever experienced.

I was thisclose to having a nervous breakdown because midterms are tomorrow and it seemed to me that I was not prepared at all for them. Me and two girls head down to the cafe and decide we want some coffee to keep our minds as sharp as possible. One cup of coffee just didn't seem to work. Leigh, a very loud friend of mine, offered some Adderall to help us focus, since we all appeared to have major ADD and could not study at all. I, being the huge junkie that I am, decided to take a pill, with the notion that it would drastically help.

Wrong.

First of all, I had no idea what Adderall was. Turns out that one pill of Adderall is twice as strong as a pill of Ritalin. Wonderful.

ADD Medication + FOUR Caramel Nut Lattes will drive you absolutely insane. My nerves worked on overdrive -- my arms, legs, and fingers convulsing for 5 hours. The caffeine withdrawal was the worst I had every felt in my life. We all felt completely terrible, depressed to the max, and a bit suicidal.

It was so much fun.

Needless to say, I was a total wreck. No one could understand how stress could drive me halfway to dehydration and heart failure from the massive amounts of caffeine I had taken in. I'm still in a bit of withdrawal. But I think I may be ready for midterms.
