the pregnant population
Now that the Flametree Festival has ended, I have just one thing to comment upon:
Why does it seem like everyone is so adamant about having children all of a sudden?? I mean, right now I know about 5 or 6 people who either have or are expecting a new baby, and they're all under 21. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, since some of them actually want to have children, but then there are those irresponsible hoochies who just got themselves into a whole mess of trouble by not keeping their legs closed. One of the girls I just found out had a baby a few months ago told me this evening, "I didn't know being a mother was so hard. I wish someone would have told me earlier."
And then she laughed softly, and left.
Fuck me. What the hell? I've never had so many friends with children before. It's like the trend of 2005.
Gosh.
