I just got out of jail last weekend, and my license was supposed to be revoked for thirty days as part of the probationary period. I'm not sure when those thirty days started, on the day I was sentenced or on the day that I got of the slammer. Anyway, if I'm caught driving or breaking any laws anytime during those thirty days, I go back to jail for a month. Thankfully, my probation officer has been off-island for the last two weeks, so I've been in the clear.
Until today. It's just my luck that I come across my probation officer on the road on the day that he gets back from some vacation trip. I don't know if he recognized me, or if he'll turn me in, but I am fucking scared. I want to leave now, please.
