off to college
I leave in three weeks for the cold coldness of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I get to see snow for the first time, but one of my bosses believes the novelty of it will probably wear off in about 5 hours when my toes go numb.
I've been accepted to the University of Iowa, member of the NCAA Big Ten and the 60th school in the country (tied with Rutgers, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Purdue, and Boston University surprisingly enough, according to U.S. News and World Report). It's also the 6th party school in the nation. Over 30,000 students in a campus that's more than half the size of Saipan. I can't wait.
